Lose Weight with Portion Control !
Okay, I guess you could say I am a student of weight loss programs. I’ve tried just about every one out there and never lost more than 10 to 15 pounds except for the time I was taking a weight loss supplement that had ephedrine in it. That’ll work every time!
But it’s not healthy to take drugs to lose weight. So what’s the big secret I’ve been missing out on all this time?
Well, I’ve finally figured it out on my Jenny Craig weight loss program. This past week, my 3rd week, I lost 3.4 pounds. Wow! A grand total of 7.8 pounds lost in 3 weeks. I’m pretty excited. I’m “in the groove” now and ready to go the distance.
And I’ve figured out how Jenny Craig does it. It’s all about portion control! On this plan, I can pretty much eat whatever I want except that it’s in controlled portions. I’m talking SMALL! But you are supposed to add in the veggies that will fill you up and that’s what makes it so that you are not starving every day.
I do have a problem with just a few of the menu options on the program. Like the fish. I hate fish except for shrimp. So imagine having little frozen pieces of fish to eat. Yuck. Also, there are a few things with tofu. Gotta watch out for that! And then there’s the pasta dishes with tomato sauce which I am not fond of even when it’s not diet food.
The snacks, desserts and breakfasts are awesome. They satisfy my craving for sweet and salty stuff and I can stop eating it when I finish the package.
I think it’s going to be pretty easy for me to transition to regular food once I lose all the weight because I know now what is a healthy amount of food to eat in one meal. It’s all about portion control!
