My Jenny Craig Journey

This is Day 4 of my Jenny Craig diet and so far, I am likin’ it!

I don’t know if I’ve lost any weight yet although my clothes are feeling looser and I feel a little “lighter”. The food is pretty good although heating it up in the oven makes it a far cry better than using the microwave.

I have my favorites and I’m making a list of what to get next time and what to avoid. Like the tofu dishes. And I wasn’t a big fan of the soup because it made me gassy.

They do have these “soupitizers” that you eat before your meal. The idea is that it’s filling and it slows down your eating so that by the time you finish, you are FULL and you don’t feel deprived.

I suppose if I were a little more organized and disciplined, I could do this diet without buying the expensive food. However, I like the Jenny Craig consultations, the accountability, the plan that’s already written out for me to follow.

Sure, I could go out and buy a freezer full of Lean Cuisines and mimic the food plan. But, it would be a lot easier for me to cheat because I wouldn’t feel like I had invested anything and that would make it easier for me to go off the diet.

I haven’t added any exercise because my knee has been all out of whack but I hope to start tomorrow.

Only 3 more days until my next weight-in. :-)
